Photo taken by contributor Jacque who has been diagnosed with bipolar disorder and ADHD. She is a graphic designer, wife, and mother to two boys. She is learning to draw from God’s strength to get her through every day. She has also found art and music to be great healers and outlets for the soul.
About this photo: “I recently stayed the the Public Hotel in Chicago on business and I dined in the famous Pump Room. The decor was simply stunning. Round orb sculptured lights, like an ethereal solar system floating above. Being a visual person, the warm hues and the simplicity helped to make me feel comfortable and less stressed in a place that I might usually feel awkward or out of place. Snapping a few pics helped calm my nerves and focus on something other than what was in my head.”
