About this photo: “I saw this disturbing creature in a window display in Manhattan. I was disgusted but intrigued. Sometimes I feel like a monster because of my unpredictable moods. Like a hideous beast who suddenly gets agitated and angry, but tries to put on a smile and make people happy nonetheless. This feels a little like a portrait of my inner self, as disturbing as that sounds, or at least my view of my inner self.”
