Photo taken by Clare in Massachusetts, a woman who has been diagnosed with major depression and bipolar II. Photography is something she studied in school some years ago, and still enjoys very much.
About this photo: “This photograph is of greenery emerging from the remains of an old rusted out truck in the woods. To me it symbolizes hope through adversity, despite the fact that hope often eludes me. It’s not one of my favorite photos I have ever taken but I like the feeling, and keep it as a reminder that life can and will sprout from the rubble, no matter whether your rubble is physical, like the aftermath after a hurricane, or mental.”

I’d have to agree that I’d not have taken a picture like that, but you are so right that is embodies hope. It’s amazing how the weeds can thrive and survive anywhere, isn’t it? Good pick.
