Photo taken by Lisa, a licensed mental health counselor. She believes that we all need a creative outlet to help clear our heads of the occasional “gunk.” For her, it’s photography, and diving. She has a personal blog that contains inspirational and travel photos, as well as a professional blog. Though she is very proud of being licensed counselors for both Alabama and Florida, as well as a Registered Play Therapist and Nationally Certified Counselor, she is most proud of the fact that at the age of 47 she learned to scuba dive and has been an avid diver ever since.
About this photo: “I often sit at the beach in the early evening to watch the sunset. Each time, there is always something a little different going on than the previous visit. On this evening there was a family enjoying the last hours of daylight. This small boy reminded me of how we all need to stop and enjoy simple moments. He knew he couldn’t catch a bird, but he had a wonderful time just pretending he might.”
