Photo taken by a woman with severe clinical depression, as well as anxiety and panic attacks. She loves taking photos as an outlet, and since she has not been able to leave the house much recently, she has turned to self-portraiture.
About this photo: “I feel like I am constantly wearing one mask or another. A mask that I hide behind. A mask that separates me from everyone else. A barrier keeping me from the world, and the world from me. I know if I am going to get better and be able to move on with my life, I will need to let go of the mask, but I have been wearing it for so long, I don’t even know how.”
