About this photo: “Lately, my mind has been racing. Some days I simply cannot stop. Sleep is growing thin. It feels as if all of the inner neurons, the synapses, are wired! This photograph of a tree, represents all of that and more to me. It’s not only the stark nakedness, aloneness, but also growth, and reaching out even when I would rather curl up into my shell.”
