Please welcome first-time contributor Laura Grimsley, a third year photography student from Kent, United Kingdom. She has battled with Depression and Anxiety since childhood. Laura uses photography to share her views on the world.
About this photo: “I really wanted to capture my views on how I see the world through this photograph. I used multiple exposure to show that I see things differently than most. With depression, I find it very difficult to enjoy myself when I am suppose to, such as family meals or days out. This photograph was taken at Sissinghurst Castle garden grounds in Kent last summer.”

Such a powerful picture, seems like a collage of places! And the B/W makes the whole result more dramatic and intense. Well done Laura!

I like it – such a complex, interesting image. I hope you can banish the “shoulds” at some point, at least to a degree. (And how many people REALLY enjoy themselves at family meals? ;-))
