Moving Through the Moment

Photo taken by contributor n23art who has struggled with depression for much of his life. Most of the time it’s manageable, but there have been a few times when it has hit him very hard. He is originally from the UK, but currently lives in Thailand.

About this photo: “Taken in Chiang Mai, Thailand, in July of 2014. It’s often tempting to run and hide from problems but ultimately it’s fruitless and no matter what you do, eventually it will catch up with you.”

I plucked up courage, get out of bed, showered and brushed my teeth. Not ran depression; I faced it: in the eye! Wanna fight? So let’s go! It is my philosophy every day. ncidentally, the picture is beautiful!
