Microcosm: An Upside-Down World (Earth Day)

Photo taken by Jennifer Hopkins, who has suffered with depression and anxiety for around 11 years. She also cares for her husband who is bipolar. They live in Greater Manchester, UK.

About this photo: Sometimes it is hard and it feels like your world is turned upside-down. When I feel at my worst, I feel as though I’m spiralling downwards and can’t get myself back up. This photo really relates to me… the beautiful world is out there, but things aren’t as they should be and I struggle to see it.
