About this photo: I made this photograph in the late afternoon after taking a nice hike. I love finding images that work as analogies to the things I encounter and have problem with, i.e. bridges, change…I have battled depression for a lot of my 63 years. I used to self medicate with alcohol, pot, coke, speed or whatever would alter the perception of reality. I now use prozac and photography to try and stay up. It works for the most part.
