Photo taken by CG, who is suffering from depression. She has been going through a difficult time recently and has been feeling very fragile.
About this photo: This car was sitting on the street outside my house. It looked okay from the front, but from the back it looked like it was falling apart. Sometimes I feel like that. Like I am somehow managing to function, but falling apart inside and held together by mere tape.

VERY nice pictorial metaphor for what it is like to live with depression.

That’s a nice photo. I’ve known many folks who battled depression and art is one of the most effective tools that can be used to help the person overcome. A strong spiritual life helps, also. I wish CG the best and a speedy recovery from depression.

Your blog is so inspirational, allowing people to express themselves with photography. Art does give such a window for those who struggle with their inner challenges.
I’ve appreciated the Visionary Art Museum in Baltimore which also showcases artists with mental issues.
Thank you for caring for these people, and also for stopping by my blog and liking my photo post with “Photo Lord Contest.” Bella
