Friendship

Photo taken by contributor Annie, a woman living with PTSD, anxiety, depression and dissociation. Annie lives with her feline companion, Zoe. She enjoys reading, writing, walking, and meditation.

About this photo: “We had never met before. It was awkward at first, but after those initial moments of wondering about trust, we became friends. Horses are very intuitive. They can sense your feelings, even the deepest ones. Those feelings we keep hidden, hidden deep inside for no one to see.
