Photo taken by contributor Jacque who has been diagnosed with bipolar disorder and ADHD. She is a graphic designer, wife, and mother to two boys. She is learning to draw from God’s strength to get her through every day. She has also found art and music to be great healers and outlets for the soul.
About this photo: “My husband and I spent the morning taking pics at the 9/11 memorial by our house today. Walking among the rows and rows of flags, yellow ribbons and cards with names, each honoring someone who died that day. It was a very sobering experience. I know neither one of us will ever forget where we were that morning when the first plane struck the tower. We sat quietly in our home with our 1 year old baby boy, our eyes glued to the tv, our arms wrapped around each other, knowing the world would never be the same again…”
