On The Right Track

Photo taken by contributor Kyle Anderson, a man from Saskatchewan, Canada. Kyle is a health care professional in his forties who has battled depression and addiction for most of his life. He escapes by letting the camera become his mind’s eye, and hopes that each photo he takes allows others to see the world as he sees it, even for a split second.

About this photo: “The road my be dark for you and the nights always alone, but a light burns for you ahead. Are you going to follow?

  1. the Broken Light blog was recommended to me by WordPress & so i had a look over it & what it came down to was that for quite some scrolling.. i couldn’t find posts that mentioned the slightest bit of optimism.. i don’t know what it’s like to have a mental illness, so i can’t say that they should be optimistic. i’m not saying that at all.

but it was a comforting thought that there was someone who could see the light in the darkest of situations. as your photograph depicts.

thank you for sharing. this is very inspiring, i’m sure.
