He escapes by letting the camera become his mind’s eye, and hopes that each photo he takes allows others to see the world as he sees it, even for a split second.

As I passed by this church window, the shadow of the tree caught my eye. A Leonard Cohen line rang through my head… ‘There is a crack in everything. That’s how the light gets in.’ I smiled. ”
