The Grandfather

Photo taken by contributor Mark, a portrait photographer from Durham, North Carolina, who lives with bipolar disorder.

About this photo: This is a portrait of my wife’s grandfather. He is one of the men that I look up the most in my life. He’s deep, passionate, loving and doesn’t judge people. It’s an interesting portrait because it contrasts who he is and reflects myself rather.”
