Ambiguity

Photo taken by contributor Annie, a woman who lives with depression, anxiety, PTSD, dissociative disorder and a myriad of other issues that haunt her. She enjoys writing, creating art, and her cat Zoe.

About this photo: “I wanted to call this photo “Ambiguity” because the viewer cannot quite determine where the photo was taken, the context is uncertain.  That is rather how I feel when I experience a dissociative episode.  I will stay with that title.  It seems to fit.”

  1. Very first impression: six diagonal guitar strings from a giant guitar. Guitar is very important to the residents of our local prison. They love to play. The grid on the right reminds me of a cage. A fascinating image.
