About this photo: “This photo was taken on a walk in LaCrosse, WI with my daughter. She visits once a year and when she leaves to go back to her home out west, it feels like my heart is being ripped out if my chest. While I can intellectually understand that she has a life, her work, a husband and friends… I love her. Being with my daughter makes me feel complete, whole; and when she leaves, my spirit, mind and heart are shattered.”

interesting, to me the photo also looks like cells in the body, like pain receptors or something, which make you feel so much pain when your daughter goes back home. Thank you for sharing and all the best.
