Photos taken by contributor Kerry Gerdes, a woman from Plymouth, UK who lives with Asperger’s syndrome as well as anxiety and depression. She loves to shoot documentary, landscape, still life and abstract photography. She has a preference for film cameras, as there is an element of surprise, and you never know what sort of shot you’re going to get until you develop them.
About these photos: “These two abstract light photos were created using a plastic camera. They were part of “Fire and Light,” a series I did based on light. Photography really helps me express myself creatively and express my emotions more easily than words can do.”
