Distance & Isolation

About this photo: “Sometimes photos of strangers out and about in the community can say more than set-ups ever could. I like this particular capture because it takes bubbles, something fun and nostalgic, something beautiful and almost magical, and transforms them into something cold, something that gives the feeling of distance and isolation. They almost appear to create a wall of glass separating myself from the subjects. Similar, in a way, to the glass lens of my camera behind which I so often hide.”
