About this photo: “‘The best thing one can do when it’s raining is to let it rain.’ -Henry Wadsworth Longfellow
In a classic example of anthropomorphism, I am pretty sure that the bud never complains of the rain delaying his blooming a day or two. So why do I ?”

I use a Nikon D800 with a 105mm macro and a 2-3 flash set-up. I added the mist by using a little spray bottle to spray water while make the exposure……en theos

Lovely. Even the border shows a heightened aesthetic at work.

ag…….thanx for the comment on the borders. People either like them or have a huge distaste for them. I myself have always liked adding them, but I listened to someone else who told me they looked amateurish and stopped adding them.
I read your about on PIXETERA and was struck by the similarities in our stories. I literally could cut and paste your “about” onto my page and it would wear like a custom made shirt………cool beans @ you.

This is a really strong, painterly image – I love the way you composed it, the colors, and the processing. IT all works together so well!
