Photo taken by contributor Teija, a 35-year-old woman from Finland. She suffered from a severe depressive episode at the age of 25, which turned into psychosis, and led to a three month hospitalization. Fortunately, she got better quite quickly and got her life back together. She found love after getting out of hospital. Half a year ago, her life changed drastically when her partner was paralyzed on Christmas Eve morning. It has been hard ever since. They are both fighting to keep from getting too depressed. Life goes on and they try to stay strong. She has been interested in photography for many years, but began actively exploring it over the last four years. Before her partner’s accident, she had made up her mind and quit her day job to pursue being a photographer. Now she is drifting, taking care of her man, and hoping that the day will come that she can start doing photography professionally.
About this photo: “For me, life is an emotional roller coaster, sometimes up and then down… and it keeps going, in the morning you can feel happy and in the evening could be quite different.
I call this photograph ‘Reach For Me.’ The photo means really that to me, that I feel that people do not see the inner me all the time, sometimes at all, and I want sometimes so bad that somebody would reach out for me.”

I want to say that new advances on paralysis are happening all the time and to have courage. The science is many areas restricting people in a mind paralysis is on-going. The only sure help is organic and pure foods least tampered with by GMO’s. Time also has ways of healing. I will pray for the two loves to find healing and peace through the trying times they’ve been through. Courage in Jesus as a best friend and God have been life saving for me and my family time and again. I have suffered from some paralysis from HAARP, ELF, EMF, and acoustic other waves that have been imposed on me against my will by elite 1% corporate bankers Pepsi,, Coke, Similac, Kraft, German owned BASF and Monsanto makers of poisons Glyphosates and GMO’s…I will never drink another Coke or Pepsi. Peace.

First of all…YOU are stunning! You should try modeling to help ends meet while you are trying to get your photography off the ground. My step niece started her own photography business and is doing amazingly well. You can check out her page here http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bUTei9nywY0 and I’m sure if you wanted to message her and ask questions about how to get started on your own she would be happy to help. Just tell her that I sent you. So sorry about what happened to your man. That must be so hard and adds extra pressure on both of your lives and emotions. Prayers that things will go well for you both and I will look forward to seeing more of your beautiful photography on here!
