The One That Got Away

Photo taken by contributor PJ Brez, a 28-year-old man who lives in the South Korean countryside. He has experienced depression, loneliness, homesickness, and feelings of isolation. He teaches English conversation at a university in Korea, but photography is his passion.

About this photo: “My golden hour muse. Sigh, what more could be said about the one that got away? Living abroad can be lonesome without someone to reciprocate love.”

Beautiful, wistful. I wish the photographer all the best…

  2. The darkness is a beautiful metaphor for depression but I see that there is light so perhaps a glimmer of hope.
