Photo taken by Devin, a teenager from Dallas, TX. She suffered from depression after the passing of several very close relatives, and years of bullying. About two years ago, she went into home schooling and started to really focus on her arts.
About this photo: “This photo is a self-portrait, titled “The undesirable love was blind.” The photo represents my struggle with self confidence and how recently I learned to accept not everyone is going to like my looks but the ones who matter will not care, they will love me for what I have to offer the world. Photography has changed my life and opened my eyes to lots of things. I can also say that I am much happier these days and my dark days have slowly faded away.”
