Reflection

Photo taken by contributor Kyle Anderson, a man from Saskatchewan, Canada. Kyle is a health care professional in his forties who has battled depression and addiction for most of his life. He escapes by letting the camera become his mind’s eye, and hopes that each photo he takes allows others to see the world as he sees it, even for a split second.

About this photo: “I happened to catch this stunning reflection while out for a stroll on an autumn day. I love the way it plays with our senses… What is the reflection and what is reflected? What is our true self? Is it our diagnosis? Or is it perhaps what we can create?”

  1. Very pretty. For me, autism and creativity are a part of who I am. I can’t separate myself into parts-nobody can. My reflection can be ugly-not a part of the whole that is me. An example of this would be one of my meltdowns. The whole of any believer is Christ-apart from Him we are nothing.
