Portrait in Eden

Please welcome first-time contributor Morgan, a 29-year-old writer and photographer living in the South West with two suitcases and a collection of spoiled pot plants. Morgan was diagnosed with early-onset Bipolar II with psychotic features as an adolescent. Morgan occasionally relapses into thinking they’re a rogue saint, and frequently gets lost in train stations and hospitals.

About this photo: “This photograph was taken during a gentle summer of tall grasses and dreamy afternoons. We wondered how many little Edens like this were full of birdsong and patchwork wildflowers serenading the bees, and how far away our smartlives had driven us from a harmonious and innocent flesh.”
