Britta was diagnosed with Borderline Personality Disorder, Depression, Substance Abuse and Eating Disorders, but has overcome most of these afflictions, and found better ways to express herself and deal with life’s joys and sorrows.

About this photo: “This photo was taken on a day where everything seemed overwhelming, even the colours. I was seeking minimalism and simplicity, wishing my mind could be still and zen-like… I haven’t achieved it yet.”
