Please say a warm hello to first-time contributor Nagib Husejnovic, a 61-year-old man from Sarajevo, Bosnia, who is currently living in Florence, Kentucky. Nagib struggles with bipolar disorder and anxiety. He has been battling with the symptoms since his early 20’s in his home country of Bosnia. Photography and music are Nagib’s best therapy, as it helps calm down his anxiety and allows him to focus on one specific thing or object. Nagib says that photography makes him feel grounded with God and with himself too. It makes him appreciate being alive and feeling normal despite his condition.
About this photo: “This photo is from my backyard. I changed the filter for this one to capture the purity of the image and the day. Taking this picture made me appreciate that day and life in general.”

Hello Nagib, Serene is the word that came to mind when I saw your photo. I especially love the clouds. I wish you well.

Great composition. I like how the bare twigs are reaching for the clouds.

Amazing photo! I am in awe of how you caught the sun peeking through the trees at the precise intersection of the treeline and the clouds. So beautiful.
