Britta was diagnosed with Borderline Personality Disorder, Depression, Substance Abuse and Eating Disorders, but has overcome most of these afflictions, and found better ways to express herself and to deal with life’s joys and sorrows.
About this photo: “This is one of my dogs, he has very long legs! I love the morning ritual of sitting on my porch with the dogs having that first cup of tea. For a very long time I would say to the dogs “I love you guys more than life” – and it was true. I did love them more than I loved life. And then I think they taught me to love life again, to stick around with them, to give it a go and here I am, still loving them and also loving life (most of the time).”
