Photo taken by contributor Ali, a 40-year-old father of two from London who was diagnosed last year with Anxiety and Depression. He is an author, a carpenter, and an occasional accountant.
About this photo: “Sometimes I feel like an observer, watching the darkness take over me. I can see it happening, but I’m powerless to resist it. I’ve had help in limiting the damage of those episodes to others, and recovering from them quickly… but, I can’t stop the clouds from gathering.”

this photo is absolutely stunning. I too suffer from depression and anxiety. I know exactly that feeling when the dark clouds come rolling in. This photo is amazing.
