About this photo: I am not supposed to take photos here in the hospital, but managed to sneak this one in. The mask partly speaks for itself. I feel trapped behind it, struggling to come out from beneath it’s heavy weight.
The mask has since been covered with tissue paper, words, and feathers as part of art therapy group. It now says “peace of mind 24/7” over “depression.” An attempt to look ahead in a brighter and more positive way. Here’s hoping…
