Roots

Photo taken by Rosie Douglas, from the northeast of England, in a city called Newcastle. She is currently going through depression due to many issues going on in her life at the moment. Thankfully she has a girlfriend called Bethan who she adores, and she takes excessive amounts of photos every day, which is the one thing she never gets sick of.

About this photo: This photo is to represent the feeling of helplessness that I go through nightly, I used dark inks to portray blood, and the drawing of an olive tree to show that life still grows within me, despite what is happening to me at the minute, the roots of the tree are to represent that Life is holding onto me despite what i’m going through.
